Transformad Launches Materia, Its New Collection of Technical Surfaces at Interzum 2025
The company presents its latest proposal at the leading international fair for the furniture and interior design sector, held in Cologne from May 20 to 23

Transformad unveils Materia, its new collection of technical surfaces for furniture and cladding, at Interzum 2025. With this launch, the company expands its portfolio of decorative solutions, adding to its flagship collections—Tmatt, Crystal, and Strati—and reaffirms its commitment to contemporary, high-performance interior design.
Materia is a collection developed using Electron Beam Curing (EBC) technology, resulting in ultra-matte, soft-touch, anti-fingerprint, and highly resistant surfaces. This new surface is designed to deliver excellent technical performance in both horizontal and vertical applications, making it a versatile solution for demanding projects where durability, functionality, and sensory experience are essential.
Color Range Selected by Sara Folch
Materia is available in a wide range of tones, selected by interior designer Sara Folch. With over 25 years of experience and hundreds of completed projects, Folch’s work is characterized by integrating functionality and technology into groundbreaking designs—a vision that aligns perfectly with Transformad’s values.
The palette, consisting of 14 carefully chosen colors, balances neutral tones, soft earth hues, and deep shades, is designed to elegantly adapt to both sober, contemporary interiors and warmer, more expressive spaces. This versatility goes beyond aesthetics, as Materia also offers a unique tactile experience that invites interaction and adds emotional value to every project.
With this launch, Transformad responds to the growing demands of the market by incorporating next-generation materials that combine technical performance and aesthetic value. Materia not only introduces a new texture and contemporary visual language but also expands the possibilities for customization and adaptation to a variety of styles and environments.
