Transformad strengthens its international leadership at Interzum with the presentation of Materia
A collection that marks a new era in the design of technical surfaces, combining aesthetics, functionality, and durability

Transformad concludes its participation at the international trade fair Interzum 2025, held in Cologne from May 20 to 23, with a highly positive outcome. The company has reinforced its position as a benchmark in technical surfaces for furniture and wall cladding with the premiere of Materia, its new high-performance collection, which has captured the attention of architects, designers, and industry professionals.
Materia: innovation, emotion, and performance
Developed with Electron Beam Curing (EBC) technology, Materia represents a new generation of technical surfaces. Its ultra-matte, soft-touch and anti-fingerprint finish offers a unique sensory experience, while its technical properties ensure high resistance to scratches, impacts, heat, and chemical agents. Designed for both vertical and horizontal applications, Materia is a versatile solution that merges cutting-edge technology with contemporary aesthetics.
But Materia is much more than an advanced surface. As its claim states, “Engineered to endure. Designed to inspire,” the collection was created to move through subtlety. Its velvety texture and rich color depth interact delicately with light, avoiding reflections and generating immersive, serene, and sophisticated atmospheres. It is a declaration of intent in favor of understated beauty, visual purity, and tactile sensitivity, adapting naturally to a wide range of styles — from rigorous minimalism to expressive interior design.

A stand that embodies Transformad’s vision
Transformad’s exhibition space at Interzum —located in Hall 5.2 F039— was conceived as an immersive environment designed to engage the senses. With carefully orchestrated lighting and fluid architecture, the stand displayed the company’s flagship collections —Tmatt and Crystal— while dedicating a central feature area to Materia.
There, moodboard-style compositions showcased various color and texture combinations, allowing visitors to touch, observe, and envision real applications.
The stand’s design went beyond a functional display: it proposed a sensory and conceptual experience aligned with the brand’s essence — precision, innovation, and style. Each area invited visitors to stop, explore the materials, and interact with them, creating an atmosphere of approachability and professionalism that consolidated Transformad’s presence as a benchmark in high-end interior solutions.
A palette that connects with the essential
Materia is available in a refined range of ultra-matte tones selected by renowned interior designer Sara Folch. With over 25 years of experience and hundreds of projects completed both nationally and internationally, Folch’s work is known for integrating functionality and technology into bold, forward-thinking concepts — a vision that aligns perfectly with Transformad’s values.
Whites like White Aura, Serena, and Alba offer brightness with subtle nuances of warmth and neutrality, while tones such as Hoar, Taupe, and Salvia evoke natural, balanced landscapes. The earthy and green range —Oliva, Lago, Cacao, Port, and Siena— provides visual depth and a strong connection to the organic. Shades like Lead, Indigo, and Coal bring strength, elegance, and contrast, adapting to both subtle compositions and bold design schemes.
Each color has been conceived not only for its aesthetic value but also for its ability to shape atmospheres. The collection offers a rich and balanced palette that invites limitless design and emotional engagement through detail.
