Transformad proposes a journey through the natural and artificial world, hand in hand with its flagship collections Tmatt and Crystal, at Interzum
The Evolution space will reflect the high gloss of the Crystal collection and the Revolution space will show the naturalness of the matt of the Tmatt collection
Transformad invites all visitors to the international event par excellence in the sector, Interzum (Cologne, Germany), on a surprising sensory journey through two opposite universes. Naturalness and artificiality coexist, oblivious to their differences, in the staging that the company has prepared for the occasion. Tmatt’s supermatt finish and Crystal’s high-gloss reflection merge into a new design concept and invite us to enjoy a unique experience.
The Transformad stand at Interzum, which can be visited until May 12, offers a cathartic journey through two conflicting realities, but which complement each other at the same time. The technological, futuristic, and virtual coexist in harmony with the organic, earthly, and essential.
Journey through two opposite worlds
High gloss takes center stage in the Evolution space, where reflections, light, electricity, neon, and artificiality are expanded in the high gloss finishes of the collection. Contrasting with this bright and shining world, the naturalness of the matte gives visibility to a natural, soft, and intimate world that absorbs reflections, the Revolution space.
The Evolution space is defined in a more artificial style: it is simulated, apparent, illusory, chimerical, synthetic. It is the style present in the scenography of cinema and its science fiction genre, within a postmodern movement that today is more global than ever. The construction of scenic spaces, the treatment of shapes, light and colors respond to the imaginable and possible, but above all to the attractive.
In the Revolution space, what is natural remains faithful to its origins, but has also succumbed to the force of internationalization and increasingly subtle virtual borders. Technology brings distant worlds closer to us, making flora, fauna, smells, or colors cross those borders and arrive as sources of inspiration. The materials used are softer and muted and give off a feeling of warmth and closeness. Matte finishes absorb light rather than reflect it, creating an intimate and relaxing environment.
The visitor’s transition between both worlds will be an exciting and surprising experience, but, at the same time, subtle, only suitable for the most creative and intuitive minds, which perceive the contrasts and sensations of each environment.
Innovation takes the stage
In the last part of the journey, innovation takes the stage to reconcile technology and the power of nature. Xmatt, the new disruptive concept of Transformad, enters the scene thanks to the sum of extreme matte with the sensation of erosion of natural materials such as rock or marble. An industrial finish surface with innovative and differentiated haptic capabilities, capable of applying the supermatt effect to irregular surfaces like the raw materials that nature offers us.
Transformad, in its continuous commitment to innovation, continues to investigate the effect of erosion itself, through Xmatt surfaces, and enters a land never explored before.
