The Hi-Tech surface has increased its sales by 123% in the first half of 2021 compared to the same period of 2019, before the start of the Covid-19 crisis
Transformad, a national and international benchmark in the manufacturing of surfaces for home furnishings and wall cladding, continues to grow at an accelerated rate in the recent years. Specifically, the Tmatt surface has increased its sales by 120% in the first half of 2021, compared to the same period of 2019, prior to the Covid-19 crisis. Transformad’s supermatt, anti-fingerprint and autoregenerative lacquered surface has managed to convince customers of its unbeatable properties and establish itself as the most innovative product in the sector. This sustained increase in sales, even during 2020, with the hold of the first months of the pandemic, has been possible thanks to the firm commitment of the company to make Tmatt the star product of its catalog. On the one hand, the continuity of the industrial plans, already foreseen in pre-pandemic, with the execution of investments dedicated to the technological improvement and productive reorganization. On the other hand, Tmatt promotional campaigns have been deployed, which allowed customers to appreciate first-hand the characteristics and properties of the surface, as well as the wide range of finishes and colors, including the two latest additions, the New Woods: Tmatt Toscano and Tmatt Elba.
Innovation, sustainability and internationalization/tp]
Innovation, durabilité et internationalisation
The company’s vision is based on three important points: innovation, sustainability and internationalization. Innovation is present in each of Tmatt’s properties, such as self-regeneration, which allows the thermal repairability of superficial micro-scratches; in the haptic technology, peculiar of Transformad, which encourages the activation of the sense of touch, or in the resistance to scratching, reaching a GRADE 5 result in the EN 438-2 test. Transformad, a company with FSC® and PEFC ™ forest management certifications, has long been committed to the environment, with the use of renewable energy and photovoltaic panels for self-consumption and sustainable waste management. In this sense, from the beginning, the challenge when conceiving Tmatt was to produce a board of the highest quality avoiding the use of solvents during the manufacturing process. This makes Tmatt a new and environmentally friendly lacquer, suitable for production with wood from sustainable forests and which has the demanding international CARB2 certification. At the export level, Tmatt has been the protagonist in several international fairs in the sector, receiving a very good reception, and has allowed the considerable increase in the commercial and distribution network worldwide. Internationalization has been one of the company’s objectives, achieving a commercial presence mainly in Central Europe, Latin America and Africa, in the last year. That is why Transformad has set itself the goal of 2022 to expand into new markets as demanding as Northern Europe, North America and Asia, and thus consolidate itself as a company with an international vocation.
